We gave this giant hamburger cake to the server and asked her to bring it out as his entree. The look on Dave's face was priceless when he first saw this giant burger. 
At this point in time Mike and Jessica were dating but the latest update is that they are engaged! We are all so excited for them!
We all had a great time at dinner together. Its always a rare event to get together without the kids around...much quieter to say the least.
I am really seeing the Father/Son similar features in this picture! 
Erin helped me make this fun cake for Dave's big 30. Here are some odd ingredients and tools used that helped make this more realistic looking: Oreo cookies, homemade fondant, orange tootsie rolls, fruit roll ups, white chocolate, food coloring airbrush, frosting, chocolate/vanilla/and pound cakes, a straw, and a crinkle blade!This fun birthday night was just the beginning of the big celebration for Dave! We were able to get out for a romantic night with just the two of us at the Melting Pot a couple days later, too. (Thanks to Linda for watching the kiddos!)
